Join the IMCI Breakfast Workshop on E-Propulsion and Li-Ion Batteries
Monday, January 19th at the CCD, Room 5 during Boot DüsseldorfA lot is written and said these days around the use of Lithium-Ion batteries on pleasure craft and what that means certification wise, certainly in the light of the new Li-Ion Standard ISO 23625. Not all is necessarily correct, we must consider. Furthermore, E-Propulsion is gaining more and more momentum on yachts, with a wide variety of solutions on the market. Here, again, we come across some -let´s call them interesting from an EN ISO 16315 point of view- installations on the many boats we inspect.
We felt, it is time to bring some reason into the discussion. And we think, that a good breakfast is the perfect start to a busy day on the show. That is why we invite you to our Breakfast Workshop at Boot Düsseldorf on Monday January 19th beginning from 8 am in room 5 at CCD. As said, we start with a breakfast. From 8.30 onwards we start with three short impulses, from the ISO standards work groups-, the notified bodies- and the application point of view. That is followed by a discussion in the forum on the subject. We end with another cup of coffee or tea at 9.50, so that you are at the show just in time.
Please feel very welcome to join us, the workshop is open to everyone with an interest in the subject. Let us know you are coming by mail to alex.worms@imci.org
The IMCI-Team is looking forward to seeing you there!
